This source regenerates the instructor guide, its readable Markdown companion,
and `dataset_catalog.csv` from **every** saved course module. It follows the
dataset-bank organization of the original instructor guide: generating truth,
full model and seed, question and design, null, columns, saved analysis output,
and recreation code.

Use **Knit** in RStudio to run the guide builder. The custom knit function above
preserves the course's black title bands, light gray body, search index, and
collapsible code/output. The guide builder needs only base R and `jsonlite`.

Run the main course R Markdown first if you need to create or refresh datasets
and results. This guide never resimulates data. It stops with an explicit list
of problems if any discovered module lacks its metadata, CSV, plot, or full
saved output.

The same build can be run directly from the course folder:

The builder's default includes all `modules/*/module.json` files. Its optional
`module_ids` argument is for an explicitly labeled development preview only;
the course build must leave it unset to include every module.
